The Industrial Symbiosis Conference and Project Market organized by Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Development Agency (BEBKA) started with a large and colorful participation at Merinos Congress and Culture Center. The Industrial Symbiosis Program, supported by BEBKA, the Ministry of Development and the Turkish Technology Development Foundation, aims to bring businesses together within the framework of a more sustainable and innovative use of resources and to provide economic returns by preventing industrial environmental problems.
The general logic of the program can be summarized as "There is no waste, there is unused material". In the project market, which will be held simultaneously, all stakeholders of the subject such as researchers, entrepreneurs and industrialists who support the sustainable production approach, conduct R&D studies, develop new products and processes, and want to transfer their studies to the industry were introduced with poster presentations on topics such as waste management and waste evaluation, resource management and pollution prevention, energy management and information, communication and management systems.
Ineva took its place among the best practice examples of the region with its Energy Recovery with On-Site and Direct Disposal of Sewage Sludge project, which was selected from 56 project applications in the Industrial Symbiosis Project Market, which is a first in the region. Ineva Sales and Marketing Manager Oral Çimsöken, who was a speaker in the session, said that Industrial Symbiosis provides benefits such as recycling of waste and by-products, reduction in resource use and environmental emissions, and efficient use of raw materials and energy to businesses with our facilities that we produce within the framework of a more sustainable and innovative resource use approach.
The Thermal Disposal technology that we developed together with TÜBİTAK combines with all industrial processes that are in relation with each other both economically and in terms of using each other's products and wastes, and provides income to the economy with our systems that prevent environmental problems and produce energy from waste. We aim to become the most preferred company in terms of waste disposal technologies by rapidly increasing the number of our facilities we produce in Turkey and abroad with the technology philosophy that adds value to waste.
