3rd Conference on energy efficiency with cogeneration and trigeneration

The 3rd Cogeneration-Trigeneration and Energy Efficiency Conference was held on December 8, 2016 at the Sheraton Grand Istanbul Ataşehir Hotel.

The conference, which was held with the participation of over 200 people from different institutions and organizations, included 1 panel and 10 technical presentations on the agenda, as well as providing high-level information exchange on issues such as ownership costs, increasing efficiency, sustainability, maintenance-repair, project financing, and unusually practical solutions to strategic, tactical and technical challenges to professionals from institutions and organizations that use or want to use Cogeneration (CHP) and Trigeneration (CCHP) systems in different sectors, aiming to produce clean and high-quality energy and thus provide energy savings.

Ineva Sales and Marketing Department Manager Oral Çimsöken, who spoke at the conference's panel titled New Horizons in Biomass, said; We are a company specialized in the thermal disposal of the newest members of biomass, treatment sludge and separated urban waste. We have the first on-site sludge disposal license in Turkey.

While stating that if combustion emissions are converted into energy using newly developed environmentally friendly technologies, it will be a safe and economical energy source with a low negative impact on the environment, a short self-renewal cycle, and the first reason for establishing thermal disposal facilities for waste is to create renewable energy with the most ecological methods of thermal disposal of these harmful but calorific wastes. Since the use of the best available technologies provides lower emissions, it meets the strictest emission limit values among all industrial branches where combustion processes are applied. As INEVA, we process waste at high temperatures in the energy production process and safely eliminate harmful substances in the ecological cycle. With the energy recovery method we apply in our facility, we prevent the use of fossil fuels and the disposal of wastes to landfills, while also preventing methane emissions. In addition, we can provide 1.5 tons of steam energy for every 1 ton of waste disposal during this process. Steam energy can be converted into electrical energy by steam turbines if desired, he said.
